Yesterday I was fortunate enough to win dinner for two at Noble’s Restaurant in Charlotte, NC and a one night stay at the Doubletree Guest Suites SouthPark by tweeting:

Holding true to my tweet, I’m auctioning off the dinner for two and the one night stay on Twitter with the winning bid going to the pool of money being collected by the Social Media Breakfast Charlotte to benefit Haiti.

Here’s how this auction works – Participants will bid on the dinner and the one night stay by tweeting:

I’m bidding $(insert bid amount) for a dinner for 2 at Noble’s and a 1 night stay at the Doubletree SouthPark to benefit Haiti. #crw #crwbid

Both hashtags #crw and #crwbid are required and the bid must come through on Twitter to qualify to win. The auction will begin at the publishing of this post and will end January 22, 2010 at 10am est at which time I’ll DM (direct message) the participant with the highest bid to work out details for the exchange. I will use search.twitter.com to follow the bids using #crwbid and I will choose the winner at 10am Friday. Any bids posted after I choose a winner will be contacted should the original winner default on the auction.

The dinner for two at Noble’s comes in the form of a $60 gift card which is to be used during Charlotte Restaurant Week, an event lasting from Friday, January 22, through Sunday, January 31, 2010 where “each participating upscale restaurant will offer a spectacular 3-course, prix fixe dinner menu for only $30 per person (not including tax and gratuity).”

The one night stay at the Doubletree Guest Suites SouthPark is a signed certificate for the SouthPark location only.
